Final magazine.

This is my final magazine which I had created using my own thoguhts and ideas. However the layout was created as a group.
This is the front cover which I designed. In my group we came up with a simple layout. From there I expanded my thoughts and ideas and came up with a design. I had used various fonts before choosing each individual text piece. Further more I had used an image which I had taken myself and uploaded it too my front cover. I had to add the cover before the text to add a layering effect.

This the the contents page of my magazine. It was renamed to 'features' as it fits the genre more suitably. the picture were taken originally, by myself and I had added the effects to it.Ihad also added a subscription box at the bottom of the page to fit the forms and convention of music magazines.

This is the double page spread of my music magazine. I had designed everyhting on this page by myself. The pictures were all original and were taken by myself. I designed the various titles by myself and I also had written the article which is present on my double page spread.

Music Magazine Questionnaire and Analysis

We had created a Questionnaire using Microsoft word to find out what type of magazines people would want to buy and what are there favourite types.

We used both open and closed questions
to try and get the most effective results.










This is the analysis of the questions using Statistical data.

Final preliminary coursework

Today I have completed my preliminary coursework task which was to create a school magazine. I created the over page and the contents page. After obtaining 4 photographs which I had taken my self I had edited them to create a final product.

This is the cover of my school magazine, which has the theme of sport. It contains a picture of a student playing basketball.

This is the contents page of my magazine. It contains information on what the rest of the magazine would contain. It also has four images which all relate to the theme sport. they also link with the headings which are on the contents page making the pictures relevant.

preliminary coursework.

 Today i have planned out my magazine cover and the contents page on a piece of paper as a rough design.
Also i created a rough design of the contents and the cover on Adobe photoshop, containing the outline design as i have not taken any pictures yet. It also contained the title which i had to edit by removing layers. 

First lesson 20/01/2011

Today i have learnt the basic aspects of photoshop. I have learnt how to add layers to a image to edit the design of the image. This is how the picture had looked before i had edited it.

I then began to add this image to alter how the animated image would look. it was tricky at first as i had to learn how to remove background, but i had quickly learnt how to by asking pupils who had previously used the software.

After adding the second image to the first it looked like this. to achieve this i had to remove previously added layers to place the second image to alter the first image.
